Network type(infrastructure/ad-hoc)

When configuring the wireless LAN, you must check the network type and security issues of the network currently being used or to be installed in the future.

- The infrastructure is a network connection mode that allows communication between wireless LAN devices or between the wireless LAN and the wired LAN (Ethernet) through the Access Point (AP).



- The ad-hoc network is designed to communicate between wireless LANs without any AP.



Before you use ezTCP/Wireless products, you must set parameters of ezTCP/Wireless.

How to set the parameters?

You can configure wireless LAN-related parameters via serial port.

In case of EZL-300S

If you supply power to ezTCP/Wireless product without inserting any wireless LAN card, it operates in console mode.

In Console mode, you cannot only set wireless LAN-related parameters but also configure all parameters of ezTCP/Wireless product.
