No.453 I cannot use a user-defined factory reset function 13-03-2014
Some products have a factory reset function.(Hadware factory reset)
Here is list of ezTCP below.

CSE-H53N Serial to Ethernet

CSW-M83 Serial to Wi-Fi
CSW-B85 Serial to Wi-Fi
CSW-H85K/F Serial to Wi-Fi


You can save a setting to user-defined ENV region and use it as default values by the factory reset.

Setting custom default values

No. User Actions Device states
1 External: press function button shortly
Module: shortly connect ISP pin to GND
Serial configuration mode
2 run ezManager and press [read] on Serial tab
3 set a custom values and press [Write] button
(Do not reboot!)
save custom values to SRAM
4 press [Close] button on serial tab
5 connect serial port of device to PC
and run a terminal program(such as Teraterm)
6 open the connected COM port with 115200/N/8/1
and give this command: b[SPACE]3c5a[CR]
write the values stored in SRAM to user ENV region
printing out 701 message on success

if the command is successfully completed, ezTCP returns 701(COMMAND OK) code.

803 ENV CRC ERROR
804 ENV LOCKED
805 ENV TOO LONG
806 ENV CONTENTS ERROR
807 ENV INVALID LENGTH

809 INVALID COMMAND PARAMETER
810 PRODUCT ID MISMATCH


ezTCP sends 804 error code when its FLASH memory is locked.
Then please use the ezManager or send unlock command(U[SPACE]aa55[SPACE]cc33[CR]) before saving.
