No. 1787 Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: R&D 2021-03-02

Dear Pascal Legrand,

Thank you for the information.
The issue happens due to setting misconfiguration.
In CIE-M10's Serial Port setting, please change the Peer Address to the IP address of your PC (which has ezVSP installed).

In your application, the network connection is set like below:
CIE-M10 (IP: 192.168.1.150) <--UDP--> ezVSP on Your PC (IP: YOUR_PC_IP_ADDR)

It is correct to set the Host IP Address on ezVSP as 192.168.1.150, which is the IP address of your CIE-M10.
However, for Peer Address on CIE-M10's Serial Port window, instead of CIE-M10's IP address, you need to set it to the IP address of the PC that you installed ezVSP.

Please feel free to contact us if the issue is not solved.
Thank you very much.
Best Regards

Merci.

Thank you for choosing our product.
We would like to ask for more information.

Could you please describe more about your application? Why do you need a virtual port when working with CIE-M10?

Please make sure the serial/TCP parameters on CIE-M10, and ezVSP are set properly.
If possible, could you please send us the serial/network setting of your CIE-M10, and the setting on ezVSP?
You can take screenshots on ezManager and ezVSP windows, and send us via email support@eztcp.com.

Best Regards

translation with robot:

CIE-M10
IP programming: OK
serial programming: OK
output control by IP: OK
we have defined a virtual serial port (serial to IP) but the data we send does not end up on the serial port of the M10!
We want to send data via a VP to the M10 and retrieve it on its serial port, how do you do this? Thank you, best regards.
