|No. 495||Re: no connection to EZL-50L||2009-04-06|
It's Support desk in Sollae Systems.
The status LED is blinking in 0.5sec interval when EZL-50L is not established TCP connection. So, under the circumstance, data communication is impossible.
To connect to EZL-50L on TCP, it’s needed to check LINK LED. If the LAN cable is correctly connected, LINK LED will be on. Thus, if the LINK LED is off, please check that the right LAN cable is used. (In case of direct connection between PC and EZL-50L, use a crossover cable. When EZL-50L is connected with HUB, use a direct cable.)
When LINK LED is on, follow below sequences.
1. Can’t find the EZL-50L with ezConfig, the configuration program.
-> Check the windows firewall and other vaccine programs if those are clearly closed. And then, try to test PING.
2. Can’t connect the EZL-50L on TCP.
-> EZL-50L and PC, which will be connected to the product, are in the same subnet IP address. For example, when the PC’s IP address is 10.1.0.1 and Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0, EZL-50’s IP address should be 10.1.0.2 ~ 10.1.0.254. It’s okay to add the IP address in your LAN card device on your PC without changing.
If the TCP connection is established, status LED will be on continually.
Have a nice day.
