Could you tell me if ezVSP maps the virtual com ports to real ones. I'm trying to use the EZL-300S-E with a wind turbine inverter. There is an energy data logger software that can only see real COM ports, i.e COM1: on my laptop (O.S. W2K). I can fully configure the EZL-300 and assign virtual ports. I can ping EZL-300 device with no problem. But I cannot use directly the virtual com ports as they are not visible in the data logger software. (the only choice is COM1:) When I try to use COM1: the communication be cannot be established. Am I doing something wrong ? Thanks for your advice. Yves
