I think the problem what you mentioned might be caused by "driver signature."
ezVSP is designed to operate in any MS windows operating systems but additional job is needed in a few of them.
64bit operating systems of MS windows 7 and Server 2008 have this problem.
The only way to use ezVSP on the systems is disabling the driver signature enforcement.
You can set this up while your PC is booting.
Right after your PC is turned on, hit the F8 key on your keyboard and select “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” among the menu of the advanced boot options.
This is described on the manual either. (See the 1.2.1 Operating system compatibility)
