To search CSE-M53, a network connection is required like a picture below. We will test the terminal program which you used if you send us the program by e-mail. In my opinion, it seems that the products what you have are not broken because you succeeded transfer some data in ASCII. By the way, each LED indicates various status of CSE-M53, tough.
