No. 620 Nine-Bit Data Protocol - one mor question... 2011-05-17

Hi,

Thank you for your attention.

Yes, we want to send data in this format:
startbit(1) + databit(9) + parity(0~1) + stop(1~2)

After studying your Serial Manager Protocol document, we could set or reset the Parity bit manually as Mark or Space, through serial port. That was good for beginning. But now, we need to do such this through network (UDP protocol).

Actually we have faced new question:
can do we set hardware parameters (here, parity bit as Mark or Space bit) via UDP socket in our program just as what we did through serial port?
To be more clear, we want to know if UDP hardware setting protocol is like serial setting protocol (that is explained in detail in Serial Manager Protocol document) or not.

We are looking forward to here from you.

Regards,
H.Mirzaie
