No. 1806 Re: Re: Re: CSE-M73A 2021-08-25

Dear Customer,

Thank you for the inquiry.
About the terminal block adapter board, unfortunately, we do not provide this kind of adapter board.

For your information, we use "SP485EEN-L" for RS422/485 transceiver.
And, our ezTCP products, including CSE-M73A, can be set to a custom baud rate.

Please feel free to reach us if you need any information.
Thank you very much.
Best Regards

Do you supply a terminal block adapter board because we will need one for wiring.

In order for us to build one we need more information. Can you perhaps share a block diagram (with NDA)? Our electronics engineer needs to know what RS422 transceiver chip is being used. We need to add power and data isolation for our application.

Do you have the ability to custom define the buadrate? In some other embedded serial device servers we found that the clock rate output is not within the standard so custom settings help in solving this issue.

Thank you for the inquiry.
We would like to answer your questions.
a) The CSE-M73A module provides serial to UDP conversion function.
You do not need to design other transceivers for the serial to UDP function.
b) The Power requirements:
Input Voltage: DC 5V (±10%)
Current: approximately 100mA (typical condition)
For more information about hardware specifications, especially for serial ports, you can refer to pages 7, 8, 10, 11, CSE-M73A User Manual.
https://www.eztcp.com/en/download/pds_files/csem73aen.pdf

c) We do not provide the product schematic.
However, you can still find the electrical information from the manual.
For example, please refer to page 9, CSE-M73A User Manual, for the pin layout.

We hope the above is useful to you.
Please feel free to reach us if you need any information.
Thank you very much.
Best Regards

> Hi,

I am considering using CSE-M73A for my project. Need to convert RS422 or RS485 data into UDP stream.

a) please confirm if I do NOT need to design my own transceiver for this module.
b) please confirm input voltage and power requirements
c) please provide the electrical pinout / schematic because its not provided in the user manual.
