Hello, your hint with registry was a great help - thank you for that. ezVSP currently saves com allocation to user (HKEY_CURRENT_USER). An other user doesn't have access to the configured com ports. You can easily check this in devicemanager when you start/stop application - run as different user. That's why I used a "service/config" user who has access to open ezVSP and is allowed to run a service on a Windows machine. We will use this self developed service in the meantime, but I think it would be good to have a solution from your side. So I still hope forwarding this to your development team will bring some results. The configuration you are referring to is saved to Windows Registry. However, as you may know, we do not support ezVSP to run as a Windows service because of the incompatibility from the third-party COM port driver.
