  Ethernet
Ethernet is the most widely-installed local area network ( LAN) technology. Specified in a standard, IEEE 802.3. An Ethernet LAN typically uses coaxial cable or special grades of twisted pair wires. Devices are connected to the cable and compete for access using a Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Detection (CSMA/CD ) protocol.
  Wireless
Wireless local area network (WLAN) that use specifications in the 802.11 family.Another name is Wi-Fi (short for "wireless fidelity") A wireless local area network (WLAN) is a flexible data communications system implemented as an extension to, or as an alternative for, a wired LAN With wireless LANs, users can access shared information without looking for a place to plug in, and network managers can set up or augment networks without installing or moving wires. Wireless LANs offer the productivity, convenience, and cost advantages over traditional wired networks
  PPP
For portable or vehicle communication devices. Short for Point-to-Point Protocol, a method of connecting a computer to the Internet. PPP is more stable than the older SLIP protocol and provides error checking features. Working in the data link layer of the OSI model, PPP sends the computer's TCP/IP packets to a server that puts them onto the Internet. PPP protocol which is required to send and receive data over CDMA,GPRS,TRS and Dial-up network.

There are a few Serial ports, allows you to use a few serial devices.
  EAP-MD5
Supports EAP-MD5 which is one of user authentications. Some Wireless Network Internet Service connection works user authentication.EAP-MD5 is one of them.
  Multi-Connection
Supports Multiple TCP connection. It is useful that several hosts monitor one devices.
  SSL
Short for Secure Sockets Layer, a protocol developed by Netscape for transmitting private documents via the Internet. SSL uses a cryptographic system that uses two keys to encrypt data ? a public key known to everyone and a private or secret key known only to the recipient of the message.
  SSH(Data)
Short for Secure Shell,it provides strong authentication and secure communications over insecure channels. Originally SSH was designed as a replacement for exiting insecure remote shells, such as TELNET. but SSH data feature in ezTCP for data communication channel-not remote shells channel
  SSH(Manage)
Short for Secure Shell,it is a program to log into another computer over a network, to execute commands in a remote machine, and to move files from one machine to another. It provides strong authentication and secure communications over insecure channels. When using ssh's slogin (instead of rlogin) the entire login session, including transmission of password, is encrypted; therefore it is almost impossible for an outsider to collect passwords.
  DNS
Supports DNS function. DNS is short for Domain Name System (or Service or Server), an Internet service that translates domain names into IP addresses. Because domain names are alphabetic, they're easier to remember. The Internet however, is really based on IP addresses. Every time you use a domain name, therefore, a DNS service must translate the name into the corresponding IP address. For example, the domain name www.example.com might translate to 198.105.232.4. The DNS system is, in fact, its own network. If one DNS server doesn't know how to translate a particular domain name, it asks another one, and so on, until the correct IP address is returned.
  DDNS
Supports DDNS function. DDNS is short for dynamic Domain Name System, a method of keeping a domain name linked to a changing IP address as not all computers use static IP addresses. Typically, when a user connects to the Internet, the user's ISP assigns an unused IP address from a pool of IP addresses, and this address is used only for the duration of that specific connection. This method of dynamically assigning addresses extends the usable pool of available IP addresses. A dynamic DNS service provider uses a special program that runs on the user's computer, contacting the DNS service each time the IP address provided by the ISP changes and subsequently updating the DNS database to reflect the change in IP address. In this way, even though a domain name's IP address will change often, other users do not have to know the changed IP address in order to connect with the other computer.
  TELCOM
Supports Telnet COM Port Control Protocol, specified by IETF RFC 2217. "COM Port Control" is an extension of the Telnet Protocol. It allows redirector software to send configuration information to an Access Server. It also allows the Server to send the client redirector any serial line status changes, and allows the client redirector to manage flow control with the Access Server. When making a connection without using Telnet COM Port Control, the client redirector is still able to communicate with the server, but it will only be able to send and receive data, which is fine for use with many PC applications. However by using Telnet COM Port Control when making a connection, the client PC application is also able to read status lines and control signals on the client redirectors virtual COM port which is exchanged with the Server, allowing a wider range of PC application software to be used sucessfully.
  SLIP
Short for Serial Line Internet Protocol, a protocol for connection to the Internet via a dial-up connection. It was designed for simple communication over serial lines. SLIP can be used on RS-232 serial ports and supports asynchronous links. A more common protocol is PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) because it is faster and more reliable and supports functions that SLIP does not, such as error detection, dynamic assignment of IP addresses and data compression.

  WEP
WEP is a secure protocol that is adopted by IEEE 802.11, a standard about Wireless LAN.
  WPA-PSK (TKIP)
WPA is a security standard for users of device equipped with Wi-Fi wireless connection.
It is an improvement on and is expected to replace the original Wi-Fi security standard, WEP.
WPA-PSK doesn¡¯t have any authentication server and uses TKIP. (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol)
  WPA2-PSK (AES)
To final security of Wireless LAN, IEEE 802.11i, a standard about Wireless LAN, has suggested the Couter Mode with Cipher Block Changing Message Authentication Code Protocol (CCMP) for replacing the TKIP. CCMP uses Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), it is the WPA 2 that adopts the using the method.
WPA 2-PSK doesn¡¯t have any authentication.
  HTTP
Supports HTTP.
User can monitor and control the I/O ports with Web browser like Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox.
  Modbus/TCP
Supports Modbus/TCP.
Two functions, Read Multiple and Write Multiple, can be used.
Even they are not contaned in Standard Modbus/TCP, sepcial options like Modbus/TCP Master and Notify Input Change are supported.
  TCP Sever/Client
In this mode, both TCP client and TCP server can be performed without additional configuration.
ezTCP tries to make tcp connection as a client. If ezTCP is not on any connection, it can allow tcp connection requests from another client as a server.
  Sending MAC address
This function can be used when a server needs to identifiy multiple remote devices.
By using this function, ezTCP sends MAC address to the remote host right after the connection is established.
